Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

The Omni Tucson National Golf Resort and Spa is nestled in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains in Northern Tucson. The hotel is surrounded by natural desert landscape and 36 holes of championship golf. Nearby guests can find restaurants and charming boutiques. The areas many attractions are a short drive away. Tucson International Airport is just 20 miles away while Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport is a 90 minute drive.

I stayed at the resort from November 2 - 7. Each night I noticed I got 2-3 or more bedbug bites. I eventually got 10 bites on my right foot, 7 bites on my left foot, and 3 other bites on my legs and arms. I notified the front desk towards the end of my stay. They offered to 'spray the room'. I commented that filling the room with chemicals during my stay would not be effective, since the bugs were living in the mattress. Applying chemicals would just affect my health. The desk person then commented that the room was scheduled to be refurbished and the mattress replaced. I took this to mean that they were willing to let the guests be bitten in the meantime. After filling out the post-stay survey, a manager replied that they would send a specialist to investigate.
