Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I found two bed bugs in the bed closest two the window. I killed the first one around 9:45 PM on August 9, 2017. I took the beding apart and found no more. Just before 11:00 PM I saw another one on the bed. My wife tried to kill it but it fell on the floor. We then went down to the lobby and reported the bed bugs. They said they could switch us rooms. I asked if this was common here. I was told it can happen at any hotel from time to time. There was no apology. My wife told them this was gross and told the staff she was shocked by the lack of suprise or concern. She was told that is how they are trained to react. The refunded our room and moved us down the hall.
