I identified bedbugs in the middle of the night on October 1st at 2am and started receiving support from management by 8am. I had 9 bites I could identify (they’re red and strongly visible now) and I was woken by the itchiness of it. Once I started looking around I found at least 4 different bugs crawling around the mattress and over a bag of mine I had lying on top of the bag. They were different sizes too. Mostly what appears to be adults and one medium sized and one small almost translucent looking one. The management helped me replace my luggage, rehouse me, and put clothes through the dryer at high heat. Some delicate knit wear is also being freeze treated because it would be damaged in a dryer. I’m happy with the way management supported me but wanted to make sure it was reported. I was informed by management that there had been a bed bug issue in that exact same room approx 3 weeks ago and that it had been treated and cleared. It currently is being listed as ‘bed bug free’ and sadly that’s just not the case. Thank you.
