On 12/11/18 I stayed at this Hyatt. Room 415. I checked the mattress for bugs, like always. I noted that it seemed to be a brand new mattress. Now I know why. I found a bed bug crawling on my pillow after I returned from dinner. I then learned that it had friends. I called the front desk. She came up and offered me keys to a new room. I showed her two of the nasty critters that I had captured in a glass. She agreed that they were in fact bed bugs, and she felt horrible for me. I did not find any other bugs in my next room, but I could not sleep ALL night. When I checked out early the next morning, nobody said anything to me. Management never contacted me, Not was I ever offered a credit on my room. I will NEVER stay here again! Please, please beware.

I first stayed here in May and bites began showing on 2nd day. They cleaned room and bed, searched bed and said there was no infestation. I stayed here again Monday and Tuesday night. Wednesday morning I awoke itching with bites all over my legs in groups. They gave me a tube of hydrocortisone and told me its not bed bugs.

On June 14th, 2022 I booked a 30 night stay at this hotel as my son was last minute in the children’s hospital down the way. After two nights, I had lines and zigzags of bed bug bites mostly on my left arm at the elbow and on up and on my right side of my chest. These were the worst hit areas. I had never had bedbugs before and had not been to a hotel since COVID hit, so this was all a little overwhelming on top of having a child in the hospital. I immediately went to the manager on site and showed him the bites. He said that we should move rooms for the night but not bring anything to the new room and he would have his engineer do a bug check the following morning. He said that pest control would not be able to enter the room unless we moved everything, yet he didn’t want us to possibly bring bedbugs into the new room. He said everything would need to be bagged up and treated. I came from home, in my car, had not been to a hotel during COVID, was only here for my son’s care for a month+. Everyone just wants to pass blame, It is all so very disappointing and utterly disrespectful and gross at every level.
