I stayed at the Marriott downtown from March 30 - May 2. I started to notice bites on Tuesdady and it progressively got worse the more nights I stayed. Unfortunately I didn't put 2 and 2 together and went to the Dr today for asma. She took one look at my arms and back and said that I have bed bug bites. I called the hotel and reported it and am now trying to figure out how to disinfect my stuff and if I need to throw away my mattress considering I already slept at home one night. Thanks Marriott, Sincerely a business traveler who practically lives at hotels.

Bed bug found in my bed when I woke up in the morning and the mgt staff was not at all concerned. It took security to getting engaged to file a claim. Never going back!

I had difficulty sleeping and woke up in the pre-dawn hours with severely itching arms. I noticed bed bug bites on my arms and face, and checked the bed. Sure enough, there was a beastly little bed bug crawling in the bed. I called At Your Service, and they sent a security guard who confirmed the presence of at least one bed bug. I was moved to another room. I'm waiting to see if they offer me any compensation for the loss of sleep,discomfort, inconvenience and and cleaning costs that I'll incur to avoid bringing any little beasties home. So far, they have been very helpful.

Stayed March 3-5 in 2017. Saw black dot stains on the sheets. Woke up with two dozen bites. Found at least three bugs in the bed. Did not find the bites and bugs until the morning of the 5th. Reported it to the front desk and showed them the evidence of the three bed bugs (trapped them in a cup). They had a security person come up to take down our info. They said they'd close the room and have an investigation done, but we haven't heard back yet. They said we'd get a response in three days, which will be March 8.

Stayed May 16-21, 2017. Room 2021. Woke at 5AM on fifth night to legs itching like crazy and bites all over legs. Called management & was immediately transferred to security. Security guard came up to ask me for my name. I showed him the dark marks on my sheets, took pictures, and showed him the bites on my legs. Told I'd be contacted in 10 mins. Heard nothing and was checking out that AM asked to talk to a supervisor and was told shift change that AM & someone would contact me in 3 days. Same as other reports online. Obtained over 140 bed bug bites. The hotel has denied and states no liability. Reported to Philadelphia Health Dept. I would never recommend this hotel for two reasons; the bites and their awful handing and denial of incident. Long time Marriott Plantinum member & has completed changed my perception and decision about being a customer of this brand. There are many reports of bed bugs at this hotel..locals advise staying away as known for. Heed warning.. bites are miserable stay elsewhere!
