7/31 We left for the day, upon returning we found the drain had not been fixed nor the doorstop fixed, we noticed the housekeeper didn’t clean our room, but we were told due to covid they wouldn’t clean until the day we leave; we let the front desk know the items were still not fixed, they put us in another room, #2237. It looked great, clean and the sink was not clogged and the doorstop was not loose. We went to sleep around 11 PM, around 1 AM my husband had a headache, so we got up to get aspirins, we went to get back in bed when we saw a little bug, we pulled the bedding back only to see more... they were bed bugs! It’s a good thing we didn’t totally unpack everything. We went down to the front desk at 1 AM, showed the front desk guy pictures of the bed bugs! He apologized profusely and found us another room.

June 9, 2023 Got up at 1am to use the bathroom. Getting back into bed spotted a bug. Upon closer inspection realized it was a bed bug. Started stripping the bed and found several more. I was mortified, freaked out, etc. They did not have any open rooms but the woman at the desk called several different hotels to try to find one. She found 1 several miles away but they weren't even sure if they had enough beds for all of us. We opted to just check out and go home. Getting a refund has been a little bit of a hassle as we booked through TripAdvisor. With some run around we got the second night refunded. For the first night we have to wait until they have a pest control company come inspect the room. We will only get that refund back if they find them. The woman at the desk was very helpful, gave us big garbage bags for all our stuff and gave our kids snacks. It's been a nightmare and I just pray we managed to avoid bringing them home with us.
