Recently me & my family of four (which includes a 3yr old & a 7yr old) checked in to what I thought was a pretty decent looking hotel with a beautiful partial ocean view & friendly staff. At $220.00 a night I never expected or even thought to worry about bedbugs. The room seemed very clean n the beds were comfy. But to my horror I awoke in the morning to spots of blood on our covers! A tall tell sign of disgusting bed bugs! Not to mention how itchy I was later on in the day. However knowing it might be bed bugs I was in denial that my peaceful ocean view room could be hiding such disgusting pests\'. Until I got home n found that my luggage & clothing had been contaminated with bed bugs! & to my horror I found one on my bed @ home!! I just killed it a few minutes ago & I plan to contact the hotel tomorrow morning. So now goes the long process of decontaminating my whole house! I\'m so grossed out & horrified, & wish I would have inspected that beautiful ocean view room more thoroughly when I got there. Even if your staying @ a pricey hotel don\'t let looks deceive you, bed bugs may still be lurking everyone should learn from my mistake & take caution before you spend the night anywhere!
