Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Sept. 25, Had planned a romantic vacation with my husband and we booked two nights here at The Chablis Inn. We had the most disturbing experience as I got bit by bed bugs and found them all over the bed. We checked out immediately and demanded a refund. This place was dirty and smelled like animals were living there. For over $300 a night I would have expected a beautiful clean room. I have photos and videos as proof. Someone should go and inspect this place. Now I am petrified to bring anything into my home after our trip and so disgusted having issues now sleeping.
