Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I experienced the first bite within the first 30 minutes while laying in bed while watching TV. I really did not think much of it as I was tired from driving but when I woke up it was crystal clear they were all over my legs. I called the owner/manager who was working the lobby to report it but all I received was an odd stare which led into telling me I did not know what I was talking about and his hotel would never have that issue (like his motel was to high class for bugs) with pure denial. They do have an indoor pool there on the good side of things but their customer service does not exist after they take your cash. Not going back even if the prices are low.
