We stayed the night while traveling. When we arrived, my husband checked the bed linens which he found to be dirty so he asked them to be changed. The management sent someone over to change them. While the kids changed the sheets, they threw the bedspreads and blankets from both beds onto the floor. I offered them the chair I was sitting in to put the blankets on and they declined. When I woke the next morning, I noticed smsall exoskeletons in my bed beside two brown spots and the following day I had welts and severe itching on my right upper arm. When I looked up the rash it was consistent with bedbugs. I had no idea because this is my first such experience. One of the signs they say to look for is also exoskeletons and brown spots. I took pictures. When I presented this information to the manager upon checkout, she said they had a beetle problem and that's all it was. (Crushed beetles in the clean, folded linens??? Really??) The motel has also changed management and is now the Travel Star.
