Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

1. Bed bugs found crawling on mattress on December 30, 2017. At 7:30 p.m. 2. Reported the incident to three staff members at the front counter. All were extremely uncomfortable with the conversation. I even brought a dead bed bug to prove out claims. They said to get a refund we would need to see the manager tomorrow morning (31st). We did not stay the night. Called the manager 11:00 a.m. the following morning. Assistant General Manager Shontee Smith was very rude. She hung up the phone on me after a two second conversation: "I found bed bugs in my room and I want a refund." She asked which room and said she could't help me, then hung up. Got a full refund through Priceline.
