On 9/19/23 I checked into hotel late at night with my kids. On 9/20, at @ 3:00 my son noticed a bug on the curtain. We examined it & discovered it was a bed bug. I put it in ziplock bag took pictures of it, then gave it to front desk. Gentleman gave me a key to room 120. When I looked at that room I pulled back the mattress and discovered dark specs in mattress crevice. After returning to front desk gave me another room 317 & said he would see about getting refund on a night of room. The next morning I discovered red blood stains on the edge of the comforter pad bottom right hand corner. That morning I spoke to manager and he said someone would need to inspect the room before any discount. (like no one inspected the rooms after informing them yesterday). At check out the manager denied anyone gave him a bug or told him about the bed bug issue yesterday. He seemed in denial saying he would need proof (as if the actual bug given yesterday wasn't good enough). I got his email and said I would email my pictures. I sent him an email 12:05 on 9/21. No answer in 24 hrs, however full charge came through. I got contractor bags covered luggage and clothes to hopefully prevent any bedbugs from creating an infestation in my van. Today I separated contents into bags and sealing them up in recycle bags to wash individually and contain any possible bugs. What a inconvenience. I wish I would have never brought my kids there. At surface it looked clean and breakfast was good. However there is a bedbug problem the manager will not address and is ignoring.
