My husband, son, and I stayed June 25th and 26th, 2018. Upon arrival, we would have left for other accommodations, but stayed because the army had made the reservations for 4 soldiers, including our son. The floor was so sticky, one's feet stuck with each step. Because of our concern, I checked the bathroom, which seemed ok with fresh smelling towels and clean looking toilet and tub. The sheets were discolored, stained, and even had dried drywall mud the size of a quarter that could not be removed. After I checked at the top of one of the beds under the sheet, mattress pad, and mattress for bedbugs and found no evidence, we stayed in spite of being uncomfortable because our son was the commanding officer of the other 3 soldiers. After being home for 4 days, I developed a red rash, red bumps, and swelling on top of my feet and lower legs. As the condition increased over the 2 day period, I saw my doctor, who diagnosed bed bug bites. My husband also had bites on his feet show up about 6days after our stay. As of July 5th, our son did not have symptoms. Our doctor has reported that bites can take up to 14 days to show symptoms, and some people do not display symptoms because they are not allergic to the bites. I have not called the manager to report this, but have posted this info on their website. I plan on calling after I complete all of the steps to eradicate/prevent an infestation of my home. So much work! And still, it will be some time before I know if I'm successful. Thank You! PS - The room number may not be correct. However, for certain, it was in the 170's, just a few doors from the lobby/office.
