Checked in hotel Friday 12/4/20 at around 2:45. Put items in room and left. Returned around 9pm. Pulled back covers and was laying on bed watching tv. My daughter was on the opposite bed. Around 11pm my daughter saw a bug crawling on my arm. I grabbed it with a tissue. It was a bed bug. My daughter looked up a picture on her phone and it was definately a bed bug. We freaked out and started looking for more. Another one was crawling up on her bed where she had been layiing. The sheets were white and they were very easy to see. I called the front desk and told them what I had found. She was very nice and told me she would move me to another room. I said no, I am leaving. If they are in one room they are probably in others. I took the bugs down in a tissue and gave them to her. She stated the manager was not there but should be in the next morning around 10am. She stated she could not refund the money for the room, it would have to be the manager. We left . The next morning I did not get a call so I called the hotel after 10. I was told the manager was out of town until Monday and that they had called him on his cell and he would call me on Monday. I consider bed bugs a big deal and could not believe the manager did not call or at least have someone else in charge call. This is Sunday so I will see if he calls tomorrow. Seems very unprofessional.
