3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

This was the dirtiest room I have ever been in anywhere. Bugs everywhere! Tried to drown a few in the tub but the tub water just sat there, would not drain. The bed nearly walked with bugs, The sheets were filthy. Spoke to the manager and he offered to give me clean sheets!. Holes in the walls, plaster falling from the ceiling and stained carpet completed the scene. Finally, the manager told me to have booking.com send a FAX and we could leave and get a refund. As we were leaving I didn't dare put my bags on the floor to sign my receipt as the floor was crawling with bugs. Does the health department regulate these places?
