Upon waking up in morning after the first night at the motel my family and I were staying at, I noticed some strange, itchy bumps on my arms, similar to mosquito bites. I figured they were just that and maybe I let one in when I came to the room. After the second night I woke up writhing in pain, itchy all over, realizing that I went from having 2-3 bug bites to now having about 20. Knowing the horrors of not-so-tidy motels I decided to inspect the mattress and as soon as I lifted the corner I was unpleasantly greeted by a small clutter of bed beds along with bed bug carcasses. I lift up the bed and the box spring is CRAWLING. I check out Sunday morning and I want to know what my next step should be.

Woke up at 4am and noticed half a dozen bedbugs at the head of the bed. All had recently fed on me as I could easily see the telltale splat of blood upon crushing them. Incident was reported online to Motel 6. Received no real response (outside of a canned response from some reservations clerk which amounted to PR nonsense.) Only conclusion is that Motel 6 doesn't care.
