Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Stayed one night at Silver Reef on Thursday August 17th in older part of hotel. Shortly after going to bed I felt something crawling on my shoulder (the lights were out) so I crushed it and put on a pillow to look at in the morning. A reddish brown BUG! That night I got so itchy and ended up with about 15-20 bites the next day! Called the hotel and manager said WE have had no other complaints I am so angry, knew they would deny it! Bedbugs? You bet.

Stayed in room 305 July 11 2016. While lying in bed at 1am reading, felt sharp needle type pain and itchiness on my neck and back. Sat up and found three bed bugs on the top pillow. Stripped bedding and found a few more. Reported to hotel and was moved to executive suite. Total of 47 bites on my back and neck. Very itchy and painful.

2/26/23 10:30 a.m. We found a live bug as we was packing up to leave. We notified the front desk and they sent housekeeping to take pictures.
