On January 18th, I found bed bugs in my hotel room on the 4th floor. I reported it to the staff, they had a hard time moving me and at first told me they were all booked and couldn't find another room to put me in, but ultimately gave me a different room on floor 3 which I did not find any obvious signs of bed bugs in. My colleague also found german roaches in his room 420. They didn't tell me that the room tested positive for bed bugs until 5 days later. They refunded one of the two nights of my stay. They had an insurance firm reach out to me and they offered to compensate me for my luggage, but after one month I didn't hear anything back from them nor received the promised compensation.
