Stayed at hotel from 1/31/2018 to 2/4/2018. Reported to hotel on 2/3/18. Engineer came to room and ran his hand across the headboard and pulled back the sheets. Said nothing was found. Housekeeping would come to the room though and replace all of the bedding. Pillows were not replaced or comforted. Only sheets, pillow case and duvet cover. Granddaughter woke up then next morning with more bites. Had killed a bug on the night stand. Walked down to the front desk and talked to them. Was told who was in charge, would call me so I went back to my room. When I checked out he still hadn't call but was told he was in a meeting but would call me before he left for the day. temporary charge was placed on my credit card until I had a conversation with manager as felt all charges should be reversed and compensation made. Still no call. Once got home, call directly and only got voice mail. Left message for him to call m. Granddaughter was going to the doctor as bites had turned into huge welts. Found out she was having allergic reaction to the bites. Here it is Friday and still no call and permanent charge has been made to my credit card. We both had brought our own pillows and blankets with us which had to be discarded. I have spent the week washing everything we brought and getting our suitcases sprayed and carrion's sprayed. this has been horrifying and to not at least get a response from the facility manager is very disrespectful.
