1/24/19 Stayed at this hotel for 2 days noticed bug bites after day 1 and day 2 realized bites were from Bed Bugs. Checked out of hotel after 2nd day. Hotel manager stated their were no reports of bed bugs in this room. I would have appreciated hotel told me honestly they had bed bug infestation in their hotel. Extremely disappointed that local business like this can still operate without penalty for continuing to contribute to this problem.

We checked into Travelodge on Tuesday, August 13th 2019 in the afternoon. The first I noticed any bite marks was Thursday morning the 15th. I got out of bed & suddenly started itching my leg which I then had noticed what looked like a bug bite, figured a mosquito got me. After that, I kept getting/noticing little red bumps appearing, they looked like pimples at first & were very itchy. I had thought maybe my medicine was causing breakouts because I was in the emergency room the same day I got bit for the first time, due to a severely infected tooth, as well as chest pains, difficulty breathing/swallowing, etc. The bumps I had started looking less pimple like and more like bug bites and after researching different bugs, it seemed bed bugs were the cause. My boyfriend and I then proceeded to check beds and everywhere else. As soon as we moved the mattress out a bit, you could clearly see the bed bugs. We even captured all of this on video and took pictures of the bugs, as well as my bite marks. The man at front desk was hesitant on even moving us to another room. He then tried to say we brought the bugs there, even though I have never been bit by a bed bug or have even seen one before this happened. I started getting these marks right after we started staying there. I obviously would have had endless amounts of bug bites on me before checking into the hotel if that was the case. We got moved to room 215, which we did not bring any of our stuff to that room because we didn’t wanna transfer anything. The moment I sat down on the bed, I seen a big bed bug on top of the blanket crawling, I have pictures of that as well. There was also another tiny bug that was dead on the desk. I’m not sure what it was exactly, but it did resemble a tiny bed bug. We have pictures of that too. That’s when we decided to leave the hotel after spending al night separating and bagging our stuff that was possibly contaminated and biting bed bug killer to clean everything
