April 27 Tuesday. We were scheduled to stay Tuesday Night to Friday night checking out on a Saturday. Fiancé was working in the area and I went with him with our dog to work remotely from the hotel room. We chose the Sheraton based on its location and allowance of dogs. I had notice a little blood on the sheet meat my pillow but we both thought it was from a wound in my back that is still healing from an excision several weeks ago. Unfortunately we found out tonight after moving the pillows around that it was from the bed bugs. I noticed a lot more red blood spots all over and as I started flipping the pillows around I noticed black specs on the sheets and on the pillow case itself in the seam. On closer inspection I found it was indeed alive bed bugs crawling around on the pillow case and dead ones too. Different sizes. All together I saw about 5-8 bed bugs that were mixing an alive and targeted were many blood spots. They had been under the pillows so we hadn’t noticed. We packed up our stuff and talked to the front desk and they didn’t offer much explanation, apology, or concern. They let us back out of the Thursday night stay however they would not refund the one time fee for dog to stay or any other amounts. We were super as we would now have to pay a new pet fee at a different hotel as we were not longer comfortable staying at this hotel.
