1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Down there for memorial day weekend. Arrived late and my girlfriend passed out while i met up with friends. When I got back to the room we had woken her up and she saw a bug moving across the bed. I caught it and killed it- blood everywhere, just fed on her. It was large which meant it was an adult and there were more nearby. Took it to the night shift management and they hooked us up with a new room. I've dealt with bed bugs before so i knew what was up. The next day my girlfriend had 4 bite welts on her shoulder. No word of compensation. Should have taken a picture of the dead bug but management took it. I feel forever unclean.
