Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I woke up at 2:30 am this morning with bed bugs all over me. I get them off me and pull the sheet back, bugs were everywhere. I took pictures of the bugs! When the office opened at 11:00 I went in and requested a refund and informed the hotel of the bed bugs, they stated they didn\'t have bed bugs and they get treatment every month. So the office clerk and maintenance man came up to the room and saw the bugs still crawling all over the bed. The maintenance man pulled the headboard back and there were bed bugs everywhere! They tried to blame it on the previous guest, but there were too many critters for it to have just started! I now have welts ALL OVER my body and just left urgent care because I am itching like crazy! I couldn\'t even go to work today and I paid $75 for my co-payment, not to mention that I had a whole three weeks of dry cleaned clothes that had to get re-cleaned. What can I do to ensure no other guest goes through the same as I am currently!
