I stayed at Hyatt Regency Lisle on January 25, 2017 in which I received bed bug bites. After checking out, I started receiving symptoms within 12 hours and had to endure 5 days of bites and throw away $600 worth of clothes and luggage that could not be heat treated. I contact the GM, and was turned over to their insurance company. The insurance company denied my claim as I had no physical bugs to show them. I reached out many times to the GM, but was offered no resolution. I have pictures to share of my bites.

DATE STAYED : From 18th Septemeber , 2017 Date Stayed Till : 25th September , 2017 Room Number : 701 BED BUG MOTEL !!! Please stay away from here. Please read the reviews online. Just google for "BED BUGS HYATT LISLE" you will find 100's of people complaining about this on multiple websites. They aren't lying. Please check bedbugreports.com and flyertalk.com about this hotel's situation and you will understand. I have been a victim of this recently myself. I am a business traveller who travels EVERY Monday to Thursday for the past 6 years. This particular visit was also a Business Trip (along with 9 other colleagues) which was supposed to be for 11 days. I normally stay with Marriott chains. Boy was this hotel horrible. I stayed in this BED BUG ridden "Hotel" from 18th September, 2017 to 25th September , 2017 the first few days was not noticeable/I did not think much about the itching. Later on the redness starting getting more and more. my hands/feet.stomach etc had bites and it got worse by the day. I had to spend money out of my pocket to get all the medications for the treatment. The manager was informed about this issue and this matter was taken extremely light. The standard answer, we got it inspected and there are no bed bugs. I read on flyertalk.com and saw that another traveler was given the absolute same response. How pathetic. Finally They said they would Dry Clean my luggage and clothes for which at least I thought they are being good and honest since I didn't wanna carry any bed bugs home. My luggage comes back torn/ my sneakers are damaged, my white socks are blue. Finally throwing away my Suitcase and half of my clothes(apart from some nice dress shirts) that I needed for rest of my stay in Chicago. I got the hell out of this Bed Bug infected motel and went to a Marriott property. Not just me but all 9 of us colleagues traveling together immediately vacated from this property. Here's the icing on the cake. The Dry Cleaning apparently was NOT FREE and I am being charged a sum of $190 right now. Please stay away from this Bed Bug Infected Hyatt Lisle hotel. I hope no other traveler faces this scenario.

Stayed: 4/15/2019 Checked in: 4:30pm Inspected bed, found proof of bed bugs in the box spring. Left the hotel for a new hotel. They canceled my reservation without a fee, and offered to book a room at a new hotel. I will not go back, by the amount of blood drops I found, it’s not a small infestation.
