Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

We staying the night of 10/14/2017. In the morning when we were packing up I was looking though the bed linens to ensure we didn't leave something when I spotted something on the sheets. On closer examination it was a bug that look like a tick. Having not seen a bed bug before I couldn't be sure what it was. It did not jump like a tick so I got worried and examined the bed and found the wall behind the bed had white powder on it and I concluded the room had been treated for bed bugs. I asked at the front desk if the Hotel had been treated and they confirmed it had been treated within the last year. I told them that I had found a bug that I suspected to be a bed bug and he apologized and gave me a full refund I think trying to get me to stop talking about bed bugs. I would not stay at this place again.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn the night of 4/17/2023 and within 3 hours of being asleep, I woke up and found I was bedbug bitten on both ankles, my elbow, and my right thigh. I was disgusted and reported the situation to the night manager, who moved me to another room.
