I checked in 07/23/2020 and we took a nap. I was supposed to check out 07/24/2020 but instead left at 5pm. I could not stay the night after discovering the bed bugs. I saw dead bugs on the sheet that I killed by spraying isopropyl but could not inspect the mattress with their full cover zip up mattress cover on it. My daughter has bites on her legs, I pulled 1 off my arm. and I am treating our clothes, hoping I have not brought it into my home. Nothing has been done yet, I have not heard back from management at all.

July 19,2019 Just getting ready to go to bed. Daughter turned over her pillow to fluff and discovered some small and larger bed bugs crawling on the back of the pillow. We checked another pillow and it was the same. There were both small bugs crawling and larger ones about the size of a tick. Took that pillow and a paper cup with 2 of the bugs from the other pillow down to the lobby to report it. Even the desk clerk said it was disgusting! They offered to "change our room" or give a refund. We of course, chose the refund! The hotel had an extremely musty smell in the hallways and in the room, which probably should had been a warning to us from the beginning. We thought perhaps it might have been an overworked air conditioning system because of the record heats that week, but now thinking it is from poor cleaning. Have not had problems with previous Hampton Inns, but will never stay at this one again! Staff was friendly and room was spacious, but nothing matters if it is NOT CLEAN!
