Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Stayed night of July 5, 2019, in room 314. Woke up around 2:00 AM and found a bed bug crawling on my pillow where my head had just been!! Immediately went to the front desk, and they moved us to 318, but did not seem to have a clear protocol for how to handle (at least that the night clerk seemed to know). I had bites on my ankles and arms, though the rest of my family didn't notice anything on them. Didn't sleep for the rest of the night! Talked to the assistant manager in the morning, and they agreed to treat our clothes and luggage and also comped our room so I did appreciate that. Was told they treated and inspected 314 after we left and found no other evidence of infestation. I'm not sure how thoroughly it was inspected though, as it was definitely a bed bug! (I had grabbed the pillow with the bug on it and tossed it into the tub not realizing there was standing water in it...the bug was still there, drowned, in the morning, and I have a picture.) Not sure if they treated the second room or not, but they should have done that as well! There are other reports for this same hotel on bedbugregistry.com
