My family and I checked in august 6th. We had two adjoining rooms. On the morning of august 7th i found a bedbug on my pillow. We quickly packed up our things. My husband and i brought the bedbug to the front desk. They woman was very dismissive of us and actually said "well you already got an excellent rate so i cant give you and money back." Then came the maintenance man. The front desk woman told him and he headed up to check things out. He came back down and insisted that i told him the wrong room number because the door was locked. I told him my family is in the adjoining room. Knock on the door and they'll let you in. He then proceeded to yell at me and tell me that i don't understand what hes saying. I told him to come with me and ill have my mom let him in. He then yells "im not going to talk to a woman about this. " i walked away from him and asked for a corporate number. Im not going to be talked to like that. Some time passes. I get no where on the phone. The maintenance man comes back and says i was right, I said i know. He then tries to continue arguing with me saying that i didn't tell him that my family was in the adjoining room. And that the bug isn't a bedbug its a tick. For one, that does not make it better, and for two I know its a bedbug. Never, ever , EVER, going to ANY of these properties again!
