I checked into Hampton Inn Milwaukee-Northwest this evening 8/21 arriving at approximately 9:00pm. The hallway smelled of marijuana and my room of faint cigarette smoke. But what was worse was after about an hour or so of being in the room, while laying in bed working on my laptop I felt something on my leg. I scratched it away, and minutes later felt something on my arm. It was then that I discovered there were bed bugs. I found multiple on the surfaces of the bed and one underneath the mattress in addition to the two I killed on my leg and arm. I immediately grabbed my things and proceeded downstairs where the young lady cancelled my reservation. She was very kind and apologetic but I was so mortified I didn't have the thought to stick around for a manger or get her name. On the way to the car I found two more bed bugs on my shirt. I have photos of bedbugs with time stamp as well as picture of bugs with phone in room that has Hotel name and location on it. The room was 216.
