Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

1/11/2017 My brother stayed there last night. Woke up at midnight because he felt something. There was a bug on his pillow. He took it to the desk. They bagged it, confirmed what it was, moved him to a new room (that they inspected first) and quarantined the old one. They are also comp-ing his stay. He did say they were sort of funny about it, though.

12/21/2023 My pregnant wife was in the room with our 15 months old while I went to visit a friend. She called and said to come back because she found a bed bug. The front desk won’t help her because it’s 10 pm and she’s by herself and can’t leave her. My wife was to hold our baby and pack our stuff while I rushed back. She can’t refund me until I talked to a manager the next day. She didn’t go check but asked us if we want another room. NO THANK YOU! You have bed bug.
