Checked in 10/15/18 into room 200, woke up the next morning with three bed bugs in my bed. I killed them and took pics as well as video. I checked the entire bed and found no other evidence of bugs. I informed workers that AM and put my suitcase and laptop roller case in large garbage bags provided by hotel. Looking back I should of dealt with everything that AM but I had to get to the customers site for my job. I did throw out the clothes I had worn the day before. That night I checked into another local hotel, no bed bugs there. And isopropyl alcohol everything I had in their bathtub but later in the night I decided to toss my Tumi suitcase and laptop bag. The stuff I could not toss I soaked with alcohol, I pray I did enough to not bring these things home with me. I talked with management that afternoon, and after showing him the pics he said that it was bed bugs. He apologized stating this has never happened, but I have my doubts, I think it has happened. They said they would compensate me for the materials I throw out. I did take them up on this but to a total of $420 for a new suitcase, laptop bag and clothes. But they sent me a legal form for me to sign, as well as get notarized, stating I could not take any further action against them on this matter after they tossed me a $420 check…..I didn’t sign it and sent them an email stating as such. I have been playing phone tag with what I assume is their lawyer on the matter and haven’t gotten anywhere yet. I still have my video and pic evidence.
