We were getting our stuff together to check out at about 6am. I went to my daughters bed to fold her blanket she had brought with her when I noticed a bug crawling in the white sheets, I popped it with my nail and a big blood spot was on the sheet. I was really grossed out and started to notice more little bugs crawling with red centers. They were on the pillow cases and the sheets. I immediately called the front desk who stated that a manager was not available until Monday, but she would come up to our room. She saw them, apologized, took pictures, and said she was going to call her manager at home to make him aware of the situation. She gave us her personal cell phone number and asked us to send her any pictures or videos we had taken so she could forward them to the manager. She's seemed genuinely concerned and grossed out herself. She instructed us to call on Monday gave us the mangers card and said he will already be expecting our call. She said that they would give us reward points for a couple nights stay at another hotel. We have stayed at plenty hotels. Our daughters play travel softball and this is the first time I didn't check the beds before going to bed. This was a nice hotel, so it just goes to show that you need to check the bedding at any hotel you stay at.
