Started when we changed rooms, at forst i thought it was an allergic reaction. Gradually got worse, compared my marks to my boyfriend's only to see the same wounds. Doubted it could be bed bugs until last night ahen we both awoke scratching like mad! There were bed bugs biting both of us, and crawling on our pillows and sheets! We pulled back the sheets and mattress to find hoards of these bugs between the wall and headboard. Our red dots melded together into welts as we itched through the night hiding in the truck. We reported this to the general manager, health department, and corporate headquarters. We were reimbursed for 3 of our 7 nights in the bug infested room, and moved to an "upgraded" bug free room. Our neighboring room tenants were reporting bed bug bites at the front desk the very same morning. Exterminators came and made a report declaring the room "heavily infested" with bed bugs and unfit for inhabitants. This is May 16th 2019 West Sacramento Extended Stay America on Stillwater road.
