Bedbug Reviews

Anonymous

I stayed at this hotel on December 7th and was bitten by bed bugs. I don't remember which room I was staying in but remember it was on the 2nd floor not too far from the elevators. I usually don't leave reviews on public sites but would like to caution anyone staying there. Because I travel for work, I did a quick spot check of the mattress when I checked in on the night of the 7th and didn't find anything too weird (a few spots) but the next morning I woke up and found some small dark spots (blood)?) near my pillow and where I had slept. I was confused as to whether I was dirty but when I looked closer I found a dead (or sleeping?)bug. I'm not an expert on bed bugs but definitely checked out the morning on the 8th and emailed the manager of the hotel since it was early. I even sent him/her photos and left the bug on the bed as I had found it. I had somewhere around 30 bites on my body and they did happen to form lines, besides being grossed out I am definitely now traumatized and fear I may have brought these bugs with me to my home - I took a lot of precautions but you never know. I emailed the manager and received a response that said they were taking it seriously, because their email did not have any specifics I cannot know for sure they are taking it seriously - thus my review.
