I am a single mom of 2 came in to visit family for the holidays. We drove 15 hours from Texas. I stayed here and it was very small for us. All of our belongings were unloaded and in the room for our 4 nights stay. I woke up covered in 68-70 bites swollen I didn't know what it was we were in a hurry to go to breakfast with family . I showed them when I arrived and immediately they said it looked like bed bugs. They really hurt got more swollen as the day went by .. I had told my mom I needed to go to urgent care right away. I contacted the hotel and cam back they let my mom which she got there before me because I had 4 kids in my car. (Family) and they let my mom in the room without me there. He showed her and they looked around. When I got there he offered to wash all my clothes in their washers, he offered to pay and provide the cleaning products. At that point we started to unload everything and he helped bring to washers we had 4-5 big bags he was grabbing and trying to load into bags . We tried to sort everything just me and him . And I had a lot of jackets, and handwash items only mostly all my clothes are. Women's clothes are mostly all handeash or gentle cycle line dry . So I started getting frustrated as we looked and sorted he then offered to have us bring to a cleaners to get them drycleaned and the wash and fold done. We then loaded everything in bags and loaded into my car. He gave us cleaner to wipe our belongings in the parking lot to load every thing in our car. At this point I was so tired , itching worse and got lightheaded. Started crying because it's Christmas at our trip ruined. I dropped them off he said he would pay for the cleaners bill and he refunded the entire stay on my card. This took 4 days to go thru my card. It is now Xmas eve and they still haven't finished our clothes and we had to drop everything so me and my 2 kids have no shoes , at this point, clothes, underwear, shoes had to be thrown away . Point is long story short . I went in and we inspected the mattress and too video and pictures of the mattress .. which it looks as there were small dark blood spots and holes in bottom of mattress . 3-4 holes. I haven't gotten better and barely have any money.. had to borrow some. I have welts and 68 bites and itch every night had to be put on antiobiotics as I had an allergic reaction after going to the urgent care. They documented it was bed bug bites allergic reaction and to change sleeping arrangements . The dr have me a steroid pill as well and antiobiotic for the stop of any infection because of how many bites. I went back and asked for help to pay the dr bill which he told me he would take care of the dr visit as well. Long story short but I have documentation and really believe this hotel has a bad infestation in room 125 I believe was our room. For someone to get 68 bites in one night it has to be a huge infestation. He advised me they called the pest control and locked the doors. We have contacted the health Department , and still have ongoing injuries reguards this experience . We are truly upset at all this.
