Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

September 2 2017 , wife was bitten several times , took pictures ,informed staff, got refund, ask to speak to manager and he was no were to be found, filed complaint with Health department, and Attorney general's in Springfield IL. Spoke to manager and he hung up on me after laughing at me.

On August 31 2019 we spent a night at this â€œhotelâ€. In the morning me and my husband woke up and noticed bed bugs bites on our arms and legs. At check out we notified staff about our experience. Manager was very rude, not cooperative at all, didnâ€™t offer any kind of refund. They know that they have bedbugs existence problem in the property , but not doing anything to solve this problem. Why to bother? They have people coming to the hotel, and they making money. There is no punishment for having bedbugs for the hotels.
