Checked-in for a one night stay. Pretty clean room, all white bedding. Couple of holes in the Sheetrock wall near electrical outlet. Otherwise, no indicators of infestation. Went to bed around midnight after watching some TV. Then my wife noticed a small bug with antenna on her pillow and jumped up and turned on the light. I sat up and saw two more bugs on the sheets. They weren’t there before turning off he lights or we likely would have seen them on the white bedding. Immediately started removing everything from the room - including our daughter in her port-a-crib. Walked to the front desk and showed them photos I took with my phone. They apologized and said I could obtain a refund via Expedia. We decided to drive 2.5 hours home and arrived at 3 AM this morning. After putting all our items in (double) bags and hosing off outside, we made it to sleep by 5 AM. What a night! Now I’m reporting the incident and headed to the laundromat. Never staying at the Super 8 again.

6/20 After staying 2 nights at Super 8, I noticed 6 bedbug bites on my upper thigh last night. First night was OK. Reported bedbugs to manager and was told the room would be checked. The room was clean and nice and I am sorry there were bedbugs because I would have returned otherwise. Management was blaise and it felt to me like they were not believing me.
