3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I stayed the nights of February 14th and 15th for Valentine's Day. After arriving home I began experiencing intense itching. Two days after the itching started, I noticed rash like bites forming all over me. I looked up what the rash could be online and everything pointed to bedbug bites, so I decided to check my bed for bedbugs. I immediately found them under the crease of my mattress. I have never once had bedbugs and have not tracked anywhere else but my home. There is no other possibility.
