Date was May 27, 2017. Woke up with an itchy neck around 5:30AM. Scratched my neck and looked at my hand and found bed bug crawling on me. I screamed bloody murder, showered to try to get any remaining bugs off me and found clothes that hadn't touched bed or floor to put on. Rest of everything went into trunk and then trash bags for cleaning. Told manager on duty and he witnessed and took photo of a bed bug on the bed. I did get a refund on the room but not on the expense to have all of my clothes cleaned and buy precautionary bed bug sprays and detectors for my car trunk and apartment to ensure i didn't bring them home. Also didn't get compensation for the fear and anxiety it caused for over 2 weeks. Spoke with manager on the phone and they say the do a comprehensive bed bug check every two weeks. I hope that is true however it doesn't remove the horrific experience I had. I'm still itchy. Even without bedbugs I'd never stay there again.
