Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Stayed 1/5/20 - 1/7/20 and my 8yr old son endured approx 20 bed bug bites that showed up the evening of 1/7/20. The Resort had the room inspected and confirmed that it was indeed positive for bed bugs. They agreed to only pay for Terminix treatment in our house, but not cover any additional expenses, including protocol per Terminix to wash ALL clothing and linens in the home. First must be placed in dryer with highest heat x40min, then washed in hot water, then placed in dryer again on highest heat. Time, expenses for all this extremely taxing and costly, and at least 30 hours of missed work time. Not to mention, numerous items ruined/damaged due to high heat required. Will never recommend anyone to stay at this Resort considering they lack competency in appropriately treating/addressing/monitoring their ongoing bed bug issues.

How to get rid of Bedbugs at home

If you find bedbugs in your home you should remove as much clutter and as many items as possible from your house. Replace all bedding and examine the box spring for bedbugs.
