When we laid down for bed at 1210 on Friday 6 March, my son advised he had a tick in his bed. I knew it was too early for ticks. When I went to look, it was a rather large bed bug. I then pulled the fitted sheet back and smaller bug moved along the rim of the mattress. When I went to tell management, he gave me a new room and a roll of trash bags. He said to check my clothes and if I saw any bugs to put them in the trash bags and he’d throw them in the dryer. He also hinted that it might have been me that brought them in and not the actual hotel. The general manager called the next day to say they thoroughly checked the room and no bugs were found. No discount was given and no help to move rooms.
