My family and I stayed at CasaYbel resort from 7/15/17 to 7/16/17. From the first night I was being bitten and unable to sleep and attributed it to possible mosquitoes. By the check out morning I saw bite spots in areas covered by clothing and they were extremely itchy. I had rows of bites on upper arms, legs and back. I looked at the sheets and saw a couple black spots on the blankets. I immediately called reception and informed the lady about it. As it the 16th is a Sunday morning management was not in. She sent over some laundry detergent and said I could launder my clothes there and allowed late check out to accommodate this. However she told me new guests would be arriving that day (we checked out at 12 noon and check in is at 3pm). I asked her about that as the bed bugs are in the master room and how can tenants come in so soon. She replied that the sooner I check out then sooner the cleaning people can clean and take care of it. However I know bedbugs can not be cleaned away. I will be trying to reach management myself again and will update this report.
