Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Saw bedbug crawling on my shampoo bottle on the floor so then I grabbed my scissors and cut open the transparent plastic packaging that contained the complimentary bar of soap provided by the hotel that has their name printed on it. I trapped the bedbug inside then after folding the end of the part I cut I used a lighter to melt and seal it shut so it could not escape. I then I grabbed my phone and took a picture of the plastic packaging containing the bug next to my receipt and another phone alongside displaying the date and time ..then I called booking.com I emailed the picture and a video so yoy could see the bug was alive and moving.then I packed up my room loaded it all into the car then went to the front desk gave the plastic containing the bug to the front desk, he inspected the room .and pretty much said unless he sees one himself then he cant approve my request for a refund.. he did not find any other...so..yea just lost out on $79 and a place to stay for the night.
