We arrived at the Hilton Garden inn as a half way stop to the beach with our family of 4. The staff was very friendly and the hotel seemed to be clean. My 4 year old and 2 year old enjoyed swimming In the pool. We went to bed, however I had a very hard time sleeping due to the fact that I felt itchy. I woke up at 6am and asked my husband if we could hit the road early. I laid out our clothes on the bed. When I put my shirt on, I saw the BUG!!!! I quickly got it off with toilet paper and searched an image of bedbugs. It was bedbug without a shadow of a doubt. I immediately went to the front desk, bug in hand. The man behind the desk showed no resistance and apologized immediately. He credited our room back and offered the bridal sweet where we could shower and bag all of our luggage into trash bags. What a nightmare!
