We stayed there on Feb 15, 2019 and upon arrival found the staff to be rude and very short. We went to the pool and had a nice time. We had dinner at the lodge and the waitstaff was very friendly. We went to the arcade and the majority or the games didnt work or coins got stuck and the staff didnt much care. We then went back to the room to play board games. We sat on our bed and played a few games and I thought I felt some things crawling on me. My husband thought it was just fuzzies but they were walking on me and it was bed bugs. We packed up and left. The supervisor brought us a cart and we went to the front lobby to wait for my husband to bring the car around to pack it up at 11:15pm. I went to ask the front desk about a refund and they were very rude saying it was handled and Expedia would be refunding our money and turned their back to us. We booked through hotels.com, so I was worried and asked the manager when I spoke to her the next day. When I spoke to the manager, she told me it was an isolated incident, which I'm learning is not true, and I was told "we don't allow people like that to stay in our hotel." People like what??? That comment makes me mad. Bed bugs happen and I don't believe a "certain type of people" bring them in. She also told me our refund would be deposited in 5-7 days as it was already returned to Expedia, which she told me is the same as hotels.com. That was not true either because after 10 days, I called and they said we had to contact them ourselves. Hotels.com said they are aware of the policy.

7/5/2019 time 5:50pm front desk refund my money they said manager was not in when I got ready to leave a lady that said she was the manager wanted to walk outside and talk maybe she didn't want to talk in front because their was a wedding going on they have bed bugs really bad I wasn't in the hotel room 4 hours they were all over the bed I took the sheets and covers off they were crawling everywhere
