We checked in the evening January 26th 2023, we left and went to eat dinner and came back. I was sitting up on the bed on my phone when I saw something crawling in the corner of my eye. On the pillow next to me was a bug crawling. I got a napkin and smashed it. It looked like a bedbug but wasn’t sure as I have never seen one in person. Took it to the desk and the lady thought it was too big to be a bedbug and said she’ll show her general manager in the morning. I told her we had not seen anything else on the beds or mattress so she didn’t check on her own. She didn’t offer to even switch our rooms. Which I shouldn’t of even had to ask. And I’m so sorry I didn’t! She was trying to reassure me it wasn’t a bedbug and not to worry! Well I didn’t sleep very good that night and the next morning before checking out I wanted to check over my belongings, bag and boots and I found a tiny one trying to hide in my boot seam! This time I took a picture of it, I wish I had took one of the first one! I went to the front desk and the general manager was there and said we will have our guys check the room and to email her the picture. I asked about a refund and she said only after they confirm that there are bedbugs they would refund our room! I gave them over a week to respond to my email and they haven’t , no refund , nothing! I would not recommend staying at this hotel!! There were crumbs between the bed and wall, there were mustard packets in the nightstand. I usually do a bedbug check when I travel but since my folks stayed there before and I thought it would be ok! Boy was I wrong!! What a nightmare!
