Although rooms appear to be extremely clean, I was bitten on my face, neck, and hands by bedbugs the night of 8/31 in room 912. I called down to the front desk to advise them of what happened. They sent the security up to take pictures of my bites and move me to another room. After moving my belongings over to the new room I went to speak with staff downstairs. I was informed there was no management present (approx. 4:30am) and the hotel manager would be in at 9am and call me immediately. I never received a call and it wasn't until I went downstairs around 2:00pm that I finally spoke with the housekeeping manager. She advised me that one of the GMs would call me that evening (9/1) but nothing could be done until Terminix could come on that Tuesday, even though she confirmed she saw the pictures of the bites that security took and could still see them physically. The next morning (9/2), the front desk staff called me around 9am to let me know that they had all my information and had emailed and called the hotel managers multiple times but were told they wouldn't be back until Tuesday 9/4. On 9/3 I submitted the first formal complaint to IHG corporate and was told the hotel managers had 48hrs to respond. I still have not spoken to any other management there. The unprofessionalism the hotel management has shown and the sheer lack of concern this hotel has for my incident is enough to deter me from staying at any other IHG brand hotel.
