Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Gave a ziplock bag of bedbugs to front desk collected off of blood-stained mattress, and showed them the welts on my legs. Front desk clerk immediately gave me soap and quarters for washing all my clothes in their washing machine. Had to wait for manager to come on duty to get credit for my stay.

3/9/17 visible signs of bugs in bed and walls. Left Hotel and had health department investigate and confirm the following day. The hotel management refunded our stay and was apologetic, but we were told they have been aware of the problems and were treating with spray and not with more effective heat treatments. There were reports of the bugs in the adjacent room just a couple weeks prior to our stay. I understand it's not the hotels fault that guests bring the bugs to the hotel, but in this case they were aware of the problem. These were obvious and most definitely were known by the housekeeping staff.
