BEWARE!! THIS HOTEL IS INFESTED WITH BED BUGS!!!!! Family was placed in the hotel do to work being done on their home. After unloading everything and relaxing on the couch my boyfriend called me over and was asking if i knew what was on his neck after he had just gotten off the couch. To my suprise it was a bed bug!! We were shocked and immediatly started to look over the whole room bedding, floor, cabinets and kept finding more. I immediatly went down and spoke with the receptionist who smirked and chuckled and said you have bed bugs. As if this is something they are used to. She stated she couldnt do anything about it the manager wasnt there and we would have to wait in the morning. She comes in sometime between 8am - 10am. She stated she could give us another room. She placed us on a different floor. Didnt ask if we needed any bags to put our belongings in or ask for any sort of help and acted as if its no big deal we were in room 205. When the moved us to 311 we kept checking everything. The room was gross when we pulled back the beds we found a balled up paper towel hair all over the back of the bed crusted stains on the couches along with tiny small blood stains which are signs of past bed bugs. This whole thing started at 12:15am and didnt end until 2:50pm... Me and my boyfriend had to look over each item and place them into a bag and then put them in pur veichles because we were planning on leaving after speaking to the manager. 7 hours went over each item finding bed bugs along the way. After moving everything to the car taking one item at a time after directly checking and removing it from the area. We had a horrible storm in our area that night as well which made it even more frusterating. After speaking with the insurance company they wouldnt remove us from the area until our belongings were sanitized. The hotel manger took forever to even get the belongs out to the cleaners until 1:30 pm assured us it would all be cleaned. She only brought back 1/4 of the clothing back and when we went through the items were damp... To be able to kill bed bugs you have to put them in a dryer on high heat for at least 30 minutes. They werent even properly sanatized! The baby's jumper was left in the room when they sprayed for the bugs.. The worst experience i have ever had the manager didnt even do anything to compensate for our time and the stupidity of her staff. Im disgusted by the hotels actions and taking reaponsibilty. They stated that there were not advised of having beg bugs in there hotel but the mattress and couch were just replaced 5 DAYS BEFORE WE EVEN GOT THERE... I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE EVER!!!!!!!!
