Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

On Wednesday June 5, 2019 I woke up with welts up my neck and ear and only discovered more as the day went on. There were multiple on my hands, neck, around my waist, thigh and arms. I counted 49 total bites but some were so swollen it was hard to tell how many â€œbitesâ€ were actually there. My room was comped and management said they would call pest control, whether or not that happened I donâ€™t know. If not for that I would have stayed there again in a heartbeat. I did not find sign of them in the room but have been bitten before and know how my body reacts.
